Engine is stock except for vintage Edmunds 2x2 bbl intake with a pair of 94's, and an alternator that was installed when the 12 volt conversion was done. Note it has a single-wire alternator.
There are no door panels or side panels. Seat is nice and absolutely usable as is. It has a REALLY NICE, uncut and unaltered, original, 2-tone '40 DeLuxe dash that's 100% complete and still has push-button start; no goofy upgrades. The image below shows that the chassis has been taken completely apart, cleaned, and all important components rebuilt (notice bolts and nuts are fresh). There is no 70-year-old grime under this car. Also, note the update to tube shocks, replaced tie rod ends, etc. Brake lines and fuel lines are new, and all chassis components were coated with gray epoxy primer before re-assembly. The undercarriage is clean.
The car has a nice original body; still has its original floor pans and trunk pan. Photo below shows bottom of doors are solid and were never rusted. The sheet metal is nice everywhere you look.
Below left photo shows the only area on the floor that was touched; a very thin strip of metal was tacked on the area to the right; no other floor areas were repaired. For some reason, they put the body back on the frame without painting the bottom side of the floors. The light surface rust shows their condition is original. Photo at bottom right shows rear tube shocks and clean condition of the stock V8 rear.
